Things to Avoid Before Treatment

Unfortunately, services can not be provided to clients if any of the following apply:


  • Pregnant, breastfeeding, or lactating


Recently tanned skin (4 weeks after last exposure)

  • Sun exposure

  • Tan bed

  • Fake tan

  • Bleaching agents

Treatment with:

  • Anti-inflammatories (2 weeks after last use)

  • Antibiotics (2 weeks after last use)

  • Hydrocortisone (3 weeks after last use)

  • Accutane (6 months after last use)

  • Pro Active (3 months after last use)

  • Photosensitizing medication

  • Electrolysis (6 weeks after last use)

  • Wax, tweezing, plucking, threading (4 weeks after last use)


24-48 hours before any treatment, avoid:

  • Chlorine

  • Hot tubs

  • Hot showers

  • Use of any highly fragranced lotion on the area to be treated

Factors Precluding Treatment

You will unfortunately not be able to have the treatment if any of the below apply:

  • Dermal Melasma

  • Lupus Disease

  • Skin type 6

Hair Removal

Shave the targeted area 24 hours before treatment. No epilation (waxing, bleach products, hair removal creams) between treatments.
